At each belt
The same bar, a longer paper as you climb
Every belt ends in an online, multiple-choice exam. You need 70% at every level; what changes is how many questions you answer and how large the bank is behind them.
| Belt | Per sitting | Pass mark | Certificate needs |
|---|---|---|---|
| White Belt | 20 questions | 70% | The exam |
| Yellow Belt | 25 questions | 70% | The exam |
| Green Belt | 40 questions | 70% | Exam + capstone |
| Black Belt | 60 questions | 70% | Exam + capstone |
Green and Black also need the capstone project, reviewed at five tollgates. The certificate is issued once both the exam and the capstone are passed.

From first module to certificate
Four steps, in the order they happen
Nothing to book and no invigilator to schedule. When the course is done, the exam is the next thing on your dashboard.
- Step 01
Work through the modules
Each belt is a run of modules: HD slides, worked examples and quizzes that tell you whether you kept up. The quizzes are practice, not the exam.
/learn
- Step 02
Sit the final exam
When the sections are done, the final exam is the next step on your dashboard. Multiple choice, online, with no clock running. Green and Black serve a fresh set from a larger bank each sitting.

- Step 03
Score 70% to pass
Graded on the server the moment you submit, then every answer is shown back with its explanation. Short of the mark, you can sit it again 24 hours later. Your course progress is kept.

- Step 04
Get a certificate anyone can check
A pass issues a certificate with its own ID and a QR code that opens the public record. White and Yellow need the exam. Green and Black also need a capstone project, reviewed at five tollgates.

Retakes
Three attempts, a day apart, and never a dead end
Short of the mark? Your progress is kept, so you only sit the exam again. After a third attempt the exam opens again by itself a week later, with no request to make.

CertiAI tells you whether you are ready

Integrity
Why the certificate means something
A credential is only worth what it takes to fake it. These are the rules the platform enforces, not ones it asks you to keep.
Graded on the server
Answers are scored on our side the moment you submit. Nothing about the scoring runs in your browser.
Drawn from a bank
Green and Black serve a fresh set from a larger bank each sitting, so a retake is a new paper.
Attempts a day apart
3 attempts, 24 hours apart, so a retake follows some study rather than a guess.
Every answer explained
After you submit you see each question, your answer, the right one and why. Then CertiAI drills the gaps.
Practice, not just recall
Green and Black also need a capstone project, reviewed at five tollgates.
A record anyone can check
Each certificate has an ID and a QR code that opens the public record, read from our records.
After you pass
A certificate with its own public record
Pass the exam and the platform issues a numbered certificate. A hiring manager scans the code, or types the ID at sigmaforge.ai/verify, and sees the record.
- An ID and a QR codePrinted on every certificate. The code opens the public record directly.
- Checked by anyone, freeNo account, no login and nothing to ask the holder for.
- Read from our recordsThe holder, the belt and the date come straight from SigmaForge, not from the PDF.

Sample certificate. Each one carries its own ID, in the form WB-2026-0007.

Questions
About the exam
If yours is not here, ask us before you enroll.
Is there a time limit?
No. The final exam has no clock. Take the time you need, then submit.
What happens if I do not pass?
You can sit it again 24 hours later, up to 3 attempts. After the third, the exam opens again by itself 7 days after your last attempt. Your course progress is kept, so you only re-sit the exam.
Do I see what I got wrong?
Yes. When you submit, every question comes back with your answer, the correct one and an explanation. CertiAI then turns your weak areas into practice.
Are the questions the same each time?
White and Yellow serve their full question set. Green and Black draw a fresh set from a larger bank for every sitting, so a retake is a new paper.
Who grades it?
The server, the moment you submit. Scoring never runs in your browser, which is what lets a certificate mean something.
Do Green and Black need more than the exam?
Yes, a capstone project reviewed at five tollgates. The exam alone does not issue a Green or Black certificate; the capstone and the exam together do.
